The role of Correctional Instructor Metal Shopoffers the opportunity to provide valuable trades-based instruction in carpentry and metal fabrication to inmates helping them develop employable skills that contribute to their successful reintegration into the community. As an instructor youll ensure the safety care and security of inmates during sessions guide them through hands-on projects and teach the proper use of equipment in line with safety standards. This position supports inmates in logging hours toward apprenticeship programs preparing them for future employment and empowering them to achieve personal goals for a positive impact on their lives and communities.
