Qualifications

• Completion of bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies.
• Active or eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
• A minimum of 1-year experience in an adult inpatient acute care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive recreational services within an interdisciplinary team.
• Complete assessment, treatment, education and management of clients’ treatment progress.
• Collaborate and communicate with health care team members.
