We’re seeking an Innovation & Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator to advance organizational learning, evidence-informed practice, quality improvement, and innovation across Schlegel Villages. In this role, you’ll bridge research, operations, and neighbourhood practice to ensure innovations are effectively implemented, evaluated, and scaled to enhance resident and team member experiences.

Our New Innovation & Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator Will
  • Innovation Support: Plan, pilot, evaluate, and scale innovations and quality improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge Mobilization: Translate project learnings into actionable tools, resources, and strategies for Village teams
  • Collaboration: Facilitate workshops, communities of practice, and knowledge-sharing across the organization
  • Quality Improvement: Support Village teams in identifying and implementing structured improvement projects
  • Evaluation & Reporting: Analyze data, summarize findings, and prepare reports and presentations to share results
  • External Engagement: Build relationships with research and innovation partners, assist with grant writing, and share success stories
To be successful as the Innovation & Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator, you will have:
  • Post-secondary education in Health Sciences, Gerontology, Nursing, Public Health, Innovation, or related field
  • Experience in healthcare or social services innovation, knowledge mobilization, change management and/or quality improvement
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working both remotely and in person
  • Ability to travel to Villages and Support Office (Kitchener) as needed
