Overview

INNhotels is recruiting for a Restaurant Grill Restaurant Manager at Jasper Inn & Suites. The role is full-time, permanent, located at 98 Geikie St, Jasper, AB, with a salary of $48,000–$52,000 per year. Position Overview

Jasper Inn & Suites INN Grill Restaurant Manager manages all front of house food and beverage operations, ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the Food & Beverage service team to drive results and deliver an excellent guest experience.
  • Utilize business acumen to develop and implement strategic plans and operational goals to create an exciting and current dining experience, including curating the beverage selection.
  • Execute banquets with the Sales Manager and Executive Chef, including setup and service.
  • Monitor operations to ensure compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards; identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and champion a safe work environment.
  • Make decisions in the best interest of the hotel/resort and management; review all areas of food & beverage operations daily.
  • Lead by example and foster the corporate culture; represent the property on the Greenteam.
  • Lead a positive, collaborative work environment; provide coaching, training, and guidance; oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, and regular team briefings.
  • Monitor and motivate staff with constructive communication; focus on targets and career progression; invest in employee engagement and retention with HR.
  • Provide a high standard of guest service: greet guests, ensure guest satisfaction, address complaints, and respond to guest needs.
  • Analyze sales figures and market segments; develop pricing and distribution strategies; manage budgets, schedules, and expenditure; track revenues and profitability.
  • Oversee inventory management, sourcing, and procurement; manage reputation with Marketing and respond to online feedback and reviews.
  • Develop community relationships and participate in branding initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as appropriately assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in hotel Food & Beverage operations management, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within a 3+ star property.
  • Passion for food & beverage operations, with knowledge of current trends and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of food and wine pairings; excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities; ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale software and Microsoft Office (MS Excel).
  • Understanding of financial management principles, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Commitment to outstanding guest service and high standards; knowledge of employment standards, OH&S, and sanitation regulations in hospitality.
  • Current ProServe certification is required; Certification in Food Safe and First Aid is preferred.
