We offer flexible contract options, with both 4-month and 6-month contracts available. Start dates are in April or May, with all contracts concluding in October.JOB SUMMARY:As a team our goal is to create unforgettable, picture-perfect experiences for our guests. Your role in that goal is very important! As a breakfast server at the Jasper Inn & Suites your main objective is to provide quality service to each person while they are on site. We want our guests to leave remembering what a positive experience you helped create for them.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Take food & beverage orders and collect payments where specifiedMaintain cleanliness of the work areas and equipment in front and back areas of our restaurant and banquet facilities according to resort standardsMaintain complete knowledge of service requirements such as detailed menu selections, ingredients, prices, station assignment and table settingsMaintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies and service proceduresCheck cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areasGreet guests as they arrive and assist them with seating when necessaryOpen and serve wine/champagne bottles in accordance with departmental standards and function requirementsAnticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of dayMaintain positive guest relations at all timesBe familiar with all resort services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyHandle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction in conjunction with the Supervisor and/or ManagerComplete opening, closing and cleaning side duties as assignedAdhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/proceduresSet up, serving, and tear down of meeting and banquet rooms according to the banquet event orderCompletion of pre/post function side work as assigned by supervisorSet up, monitor, refresh and breakdown coffee breaks, receptions and buffet tables for specified functions according to group requirements and departmental standards;Other duties as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS:You are a team player who is excited to create a great experience for the guests!
