Job summary

Caoutchoucs et Plastiques Falpaco Inc. is seeking a Material Handler/Receiving and Shipping Clerk to support our plastic and rubber molding operations. You will review instructions, prepare materials, and help ensure machines run efficiently on the day shift.

Key responsibilities include maintaining material flow, operating molding equipment, inspecting parts, and assisting with packaging and shipping. French literacy and basic counting are essential; industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes in French.
• Capable of accurate counting.
• Experience in plastics and/or rubber industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret work instructions.
• Ensure raw materials are supplied to machines.
• Start operations on time to maximize production time.
• Operate and supervise rubber or plastic molding machines.
• Deburr, inspect, and package produced parts.
• Granulate rejected parts if necessary and maintain a clean work area.

Job Summary

• Review and interpret work instructions.
• Understand and execute tasks written in the work instruction booklet.
• Ensure the machine is supplied with raw materials.
• Start operations on time and maximize production time.
• Operate and supervise rubber or plastic molding machines.
• Deburr produced parts (if necessary), assemble, inspect, and package them.
• Granulate rejected parts (if necessary) using the granulator.
• Clean and maintain the work area according to established standards.
• Suggest improvements to production methods. work

Skills

• Ability to read and write French
• Ability to count
• Experience in the plastics and rubber industry is an asset

• The maximum salary for a day laborer who has acquired all the skills is $30.57/hr.
