This position involves physical demands and operates on a night shift schedule.
Job Description
Straight Shift Timing on Night Shift (10 : 00PM-6 : 30AM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.

Reporting to the Injection Supervisor, with technical direction from engineering, the Injection Molding Technician assists the leader technician and supervisor in daily operations of the injection and injection assembly systems. Set up and operate injection‑molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials. Responsible for maintenance of injection processes to meet standard cycle times and quality requirements. Ability to properly handle material, molded product and related inventory control. Must have experience and knowledge of proper operation of manufacturing and material handling equipment. Ability to operate a forklift a plus.

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures within mold making.
3. Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑change environment, with limited supervision: self‑starter.
4. Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization and follow‑up skills.
5. Leadership skills and ability to be led in a manner that is healthy to our positive and productive work environment.
6. Emphasis on personal and professional growth. Keeps knowledge and skills current.
7. Reliance on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a variety of tasks.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to read and write in English.
9. Ability to work under time pressure and prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
10. Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude daily and under deadlines.
