Job summary

New Value Solutions (NVS) is seeking an Infrastructure Security Consultant to support the Information Technology Division. The consultant will help reduce cybersecurity risk within critical government information systems as technology environments are upgraded, redesigned, renewed, and legacy environments are retired.

Responsibilities include leading IT upgrades from a cybersecurity viewpoint, participating in security programs, and providing oversight for customer initiatives.

Qualifications

• Full-time working experience in an Information Technology-related field is required.
• Experience with solutions architecture and IT design is required.
• Demonstrated cybersecurity experience applied to infrastructure and IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead upgrade and renewal of information technology environments from a cybersecurity perspective.
• Contribute to Cybersecurity Maturity Security Program and related initiatives.
• Provide cybersecurity oversight for customer and business initiatives.
• Support retirement and transition of legacy technology environments.
• Participate in security architecture initiatives and risk reduction efforts.
• Assist with development and implementation of secure architectures and policies.
