Job summary

Enbridge is seeking an Engineer in Training I in Infrastructure Planning to join our team in Calgary. You will support optimization of Liquids Pipelines by developing technical solutions, advancing business opportunities, and aiding operational decisions.

This role offers growth through cross-functional collaboration and exposure to critical energy infrastructure. The position targets candidates graduating in spring 2027 or recently licensed as EIT with APEGA, with limited travel and a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required or expected spring 2027 graduate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate information to support sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical expertise of pipeline and terminal assets for safe, efficient operations.
• Support business growth by preparing proposals, business cases, and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, commercial, and project teams to define scopes and solutions.
• Coordinate planning and recovery during unplanned events like refinery disruptions and weather impacts.
• Conduct pipeline and terminal planning activities, including tankage optimization and cost reduction.
• Present analyses and recommendations to leadership and support MOC and due diligence.
