Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Toronto is seeking a Track Project Management Assistant (Internal Title: Project Management II) to provide admin support to the Project Manager and help coordinate pre-construction activities for rail-focused projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in project management or a related field, with familiarity with project management software and rail construction context. Office-based with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years in Project Management or a similar role.
• PMI Project Management, ReadyTM, and CAPM certifications are preferred.
• Preference for project coordination in design/construction or related rail work.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools is desirable.
• Familiarity with railway corridor infrastructure and related construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and coordination to the Project Manager for smooth execution of project activities.
• Assist in development and implementation phases with managers and project teams.
• Coordinate pre-construction processes by reviewing plans and documents for effective coordination.
• Support implementation of project standards and manage critical paths/milestones with status updates to the Director.
• Address conflicts, track issues, and investigate potential disruptions with corrective actions.
• Enter TLC work event items into NAPT (Network Access Planning Tool) at scheduled timescales.
• Attend and represent TLC work events at RCAC meetings: ICAMs, deconfliction calls.
• Update the TLC P6 schedule section for Track Access and report missed milestones.
• Support 2028 EAS submissions for TLC, including Vault entries.
• Populate Level 3 vis board for track access and attend vis meetings when required.

• (Internal Title: Project Management II)
  • Provide administrative support and coordination to the Project Manager ensuring smooth execution of project activities.
  • Assist in the Development and Implementation phases collaborating with Managers and project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate the pre-construction processes by reviewing plans and associated documents, ensuring effective project coordination within the overall network.
  • Support the implementation of project standards and manage critical paths/milestones, providing regular project status updates to the Director.
  • Proactively address conflicts to facilitate timely resolution, track issues, and contribute to the investigation of potential project disruptions, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Entering TLC work event items into NAPT (Network Access Planning Tool) at various timescales, nominally T-8 and T-35 weeks out.
  • Attending and representing TLC work events at various RCAC meetings: ICAMs, T-7 to T-4 deconfliction calls.
  • Updating the TLC P6 schedule section for 'Track Access Planning' including update on milestone activities in the 4 week period that were due for Track Access including schedule narrative on any missed milestones or changes to the schedule activities.
  • Support with the 2028 EAS (Engineering Access Statement) submission for TLC including entering work items into Vault software ahead of the end of May 2026 deadline, including assisting with the creation of supplementary memo's supporting the Vault entries.
  • Support with populating Level 3 vis board for track access and attending vis meetings when required

• Bachelor’s degree in applied science, engineering, management or a related discipline, or a combination of education, training, and equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management or a similar role
• Have a recognized certification such as PMI Project Management, ReadyTM, and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• Preference will be given to those with project coordination experience, preferably in the design, construction, or assurance of heavy passenger rail transit systems or related works
• Proficiency in project management software and tools is desirable
• Familiarity with railway corridor infrastructure and related construction projects

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
