Position: IT Support Technician
Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our growing team. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in the Vancouver area. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Reproduce, diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by users
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • May supervise other technical support workers in this group
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with remote support tools is an asset
  • IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
