Job summary

SPECTRAFORCE is seeking a Senior Specialist-IC Business IT Integration in Toronto (Hybrid). You will partner with business groups and Technology & Operations to define technology requirements and oversee currency projects, DB refresh, and end-of-life upgrades while juggling multiple initiatives.

You’ll provide SME input on IT systems, lead strategic initiatives, develop business cases, and ensure IT solutions align with financial goals.

Qualifications

Title: Senior Specialist-IC Business IT Integration

Duration: 12+ months Contract

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)

They’ll oversee Currency Projects, DB Refresh, win2012 end of life as well as some small initiatives so must be able to juggle multiple tech initiatives and would have Clarity knowledge for financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as an advisor and partner between the business/group and T&O to define & document technology requirements for a business/group.
• Provides subject matter expertise for all IT systems related initiatives.
• Manages initiatives, supports and delivers on operational goals.
• Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor.
• Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
• Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
• May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.
• Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
• Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
• Manages resources and leads the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.

• Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder technology needs.
• Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of technology solutions.
• Supports business in production support, system enhancements, product upgrades and development.
• Provides expertise to establish key business initiatives/priorities to support & sustain the strategic direction.

Qualifications:

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
