Job summary

Alimentiv is seeking an Information Security Analyst to protect critical systems in a regulated environment. You will identify vulnerabilities, monitor threats, and strengthen controls across cloud, identity and infrastructure platforms.

You'll work hands-on with Tenable, SIEM and EDR; manage IAM controls, and support audits and client assessments. This role offers remote work with EST-based preference and opportunities for growth within a global GI-focused CRO.

Qualifications

• Proven information security or cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on vulnerability triage using Tenable or similar tools.
• Experience monitoring/responding to alerts across SIEM/EDR/cloud.
• Strong understanding of threat detection, hunting and IR.
• Experience with security controls in M365/Azure/AWS/Okta.
• IAM concepts: access reviews and authentication controls.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GxP standards.
• Support security audits and client assessments.
• Analytical, organized, and good documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting new opportunity for an individual that's a pro in cybersecurity and motivated by the challenge of protecting critical systems in a highly regulated environment. As an Information Security Analyst, you'll play a hands‑on role in identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring threats, and strengthening security controls across cloud, identity, and infrastructure platforms. You'll work with modern security technologies, contribute to compliance and audit readiness, and have a direct impact on reducing organizational risk while helping the business scale securely.

About the Role

• Proven experience in information security, security operations, or cybersecurity analysis roles
• Hands‑on experience managing and triaging vulnerabilities using tools such as Tenable or similar vulnerability management platforms
• Experience monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts across SIEM, EDR, identity, and cloud security platforms
• Strong understanding of threat detection, threat hunting, incident response, and security monitoring practices
• Experience administering and maintaining security controls within Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Okta, and/or hybrid environments
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, including access reviews and authentication controls
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GxP, or other regulated‑industry standards
• Experience supporting security audits, client assessments, penetration testing activities, and remediation tracking
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage priorities and follow issues through to resolution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams to drive security outcomes

What we’re looking for:

• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability management and security monitoring tools (e.g., Tenable, Nessus, SIEM, EDR).
• Experience investigating security alerts, identifying threats, and supportingincident response activities through resolution.
• Knowledgeofcloud security within Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Familiarity withidentity and access management (IAM) solutions, such as Okta or Entra ID.
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks, includingSOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepareaudit-ready documentation and support client security assessments.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive security issues through to resolution.

Preferred

Experience with CrowdStrike, penetration testing activities, and regulated environments (e.g., GxP, healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research).
