We are establishing an appointment pool for vacancies that arise within the next 24 months. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and / or permanency.
The Information Governance Compliance Consultant is responsible for ensuring compliance through the effective administration and management of information applications, including electronic document management systems (EDMS). This role involves implementing, maintaining, and monitoring privacy and legislative compliance programs and policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring data rights and retention, implementing data loss prevention strategies, and providing training and compliance reporting.
To be successful in this role you will have experience administering and maintaining an EDMS and other information applications, including configuring, troubleshooting, and integrating these systems within a complex environment. You will also be adept at implementing data loss prevention strategies, managing data retention and disposal policies, and using tools such as Power Platform and Purview to support compliance and information governance objectives.
