About The Role

Join a team where your work truly matters. We\'re seeking a talented and an experienced Information Analyst who conceptualizes, designs, develops, and enhances present and anticipated program needs through custom reporting. This position will also be responsible for report generation, advanced querying techniques, providing data extractions, and reporting solutions for applications.

What You’ll Do
  • Extract reports from a variety of systems and from the integration of those systems
  • Liaise with a broad spectrum of stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the Data Warehouse and Data Quality Administrators to build solutions within the corporate architecture framework
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents for various existing production reporting/data solutions and assist with planning and technology changes or upgrades in a complex integrated environment
What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • Diploma in computer science, health informatics, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years working experience with analytics and reporting in a complex work environment
  • Technical knowledge of database concepts, theories, and data integration using various computer platforms
  • Strong computer programming skills and demonstrated proven experience on report creation and data extraction
  • Experience creating an analytic dashboard using a variety of visualizations (e.g. Power BI, MicroStrategy)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, technology driven environment
  • Proven experience and skills in effective communication, problem solving, data analysis, documentation standards
  • Knowledge of the health environment and of data quality improvement techniques would be an additional asset
  • Thorough understanding of change management protocols and quality control are also required

  • Identify, analyze and work with key stakeholders to solve data quality issues in your solutions
  • Technical knowledge of database concepts, theories, and data integration using various computer platforms (including SQL query writing)
  • You have strong computer programming/scripting skills and demonstrated proven experience on report creation and data extraction
  • You have an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
  • You have experience creating an analytic dashboard using a variety of visualizations (Power BI, MicroStrategy)
  • Team/Independence ability to build positive work relationships
  • Work independently and participate as a team member to meet the needs of customers, partners and co-workers
  • Organizational ability to independently prioritize and organize your own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in a changing environment
  • Analytical ability to identify, explore and evaluate options on data, processes and methodologies, information technology and potential systems design to make feasible recommendations
  • Thorough understanding of change management protocols and quality control are also required
  • Communication skills to communicate verbally or in writing and thrive in a dynamic, technology driven environment
  • You have proven experience and skills in effective communication, problem solving, data analysis, documentation standards
