Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing each detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they evolve in environments such as security operation centres, call centres, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Hours: Full Time rotating shifts – 0630-1830 hours

Pay rate: $20.45/hr

Location: N1L 1P4

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification
• Strong report writing skills
