Qualifications

  • Bilingual – English, French and Spanish considered an asset.

Position Available

Role Title: Industrial Site Supervisor

Role Description: The Industrial Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily industrial cleaning operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and client expectations. The role provides hands‑on leadership and direction to Industrial Technician/Labours, Labour Technician, and in certain scenarios Janitorial Technicians. Ensure compliance with H&S procedures, support effective communication between employees, management, and clients. The Industrial Site Supervisor helps maintain operational consistency, address site‑level concerns, and ensure services are delivered reliable and professionally.

Location: Sudbury

Schedule: Full-Time – rotation

Hours: 44-48 hours per week

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate industrial technicians performing industrial pressure washing, high‑pressure cleaning, and related industrial cleaning services.
  • Provide hands‑on leadership, direction, and support to technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client specifications.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments, job schedules, crew deployment, and equipment requirements to support timely and effective service delivery.
  • Ensure technicians follow all company health and safety policies, client‑specific procedures, safe work practices, and applicable PPE requirements.
  • Monitor the safe operation, handling, and maintenance of pressure washing equipment, hoses, pumps, water systems, and other industrial cleaning tools.
  • Conduct job site visits and inspections to monitor work quality, productivity, safety compliance, and adherence to established service standards.
  • Ensure technicians are properly trained and competent in equipment operation, pressure washing techniques, hazard identification, and site‑specific safety requirements.
  • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, performance, and compliance with company expectations, addressing concerns and escalating issues to management as required.
  • Coordinate equipment, supplies, materials, and transportation requirements to ensure crews are adequately prepared for scheduled work.
  • Communicate with clients, site representatives, technicians, and management to coordinate services, clarify job requirements, and resolve operational concerns.
  • Monitor job progress and completion to ensure work meets client expectations, contractual requirements, and established quality standards.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, supply shortages, workplace hazards, incidents, and service concerns.
  • Complete and maintain required operational documentation, including job reports, inspections, equipment records, safety documentation, and employee performance records.
  • Support incident reporting and investigations, implement corrective actions, and reinforce a proactive safety culture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve job efficiency, equipment utilization, crew productivity, and service delivery.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and ongoing development of industrial technicians.
  • Ensure company vehicles, equipment, tools, and job sites are maintained in a safe, clean, secure, and professional condition.
  • Perform hands‑on industrial pressure washing and cleaning duties when required to support crews and meet operational demands.
  • Provide operational updates to the Industrial Manager regarding job progress, staffing requirements, safety concerns, client feedback, and performance issues.
  • Maintain flexibility to support changing operational needs, including travel to client sites, overtime, and evening or weekend work as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
