GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. is seeking Industrial Shutdown Tank Cleaners for shutdown and turnaround projects based out of Hinton, Alberta.

This full-time contract role focuses on safe entry and cleaning of tanks and vessels during scheduled shutdowns, with travel to Western Canada as needed. You will join a coordinated shutdown crew, operating high-pressure water jets and vacuum trucks with safety as the top priority.

• Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of relevant safety protocols.
• Willingness to travel and work at various project sites throughout Western Canada.

Responsibilities

• Safely enter and clean industrial tanks and vessels during shutdown periods.
• Operate high-pressure water jets and vacuum trucks for effective cleaning.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, especially for confined spaces and high-pressure equipment.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

Schedule Shutdown and turnaround rotations, based on project requirements

The Role

GrizzlyTrek is seeking Industrial Shutdown Tank Cleaners to join our valued client's team for shutdown and turnaround projects based out of Hinton, Alberta. This is a full-time contract position focused on the safe entry and cleaning of industrial tanks and vessels during scheduled shutdown periods.

You will work as part of a coordinated shutdown crew, operating high-pressure water jets and vacuum trucks with safety at the centre of everything you do. The role includes travel to project sites throughout Western Canada as operational needs require.

What You’ll Do

• Safely enter and clean industrial tanks and vessels during shutdown periods
• Operate high-pressure water jets and vacuum trucks for effective cleaning
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, particularly those related to confined space entry and working with high-pressure equipment
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Inspect equipment and machinery before and after use to ensure proper functioning and safety
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions
• Report any safety incidents or hazards to the supervisor immediately

What You Bring

• Proven experience in industrial tank cleaning and vessel entry
• Familiarity with high-pressure water jets and vacuum truck operations
• Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of relevant safety protocols
• Ability to work in confined spaces and handle physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to travel and work at various project sites throughout Western Canada
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• H2S Alive certification
• Standard First Aid certification
• Confined Space Entry certification

Work Environment

• Hands-on, physically demanding work inside confined spaces such as industrial tanks and vessels
• Regular work with high-pressure water jetting and vacuum truck equipment
• Travel to project sites throughout Western Canada as shutdown schedules require
