Job summary

BOS Innovations Inc. is seeking an Automation Systems Programmer with a strong focus on industrial robot programming to develop, integrate, and commission custom robotic automation solutions. You will work closely with engineering and project teams to meet customer specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct experience programming, integrating, and commissioning industrial robots in automation/manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of robot motion control, coordinate systems, tool frames, path optimization, and robot safety.
• Experience integrating robotic systems with PLCs, sensors, vision systems, and other automation equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot robotic programs, communication issues, and system integration challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robot programs for custom automation applications.
• Create and optimize robot motion paths and sequences to achieve cycle times and efficiency.
• Perform offline programming and simulations including reach studies and collision checks.
• Configure, test, and validate robot safety functions and interlocks.
• Integrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and vision systems for coordinated operation.
• Support project commissioning, debugging, and performance optimization during build, FAT, installation, and SAT.
