We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Maintenance Technician within our London, ON operation to help support our Automotive business. This is a Rotating Shift position.

Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

The Maintenance Technician maintains equipment lifetime by implementing preventive maintenance measures, as well as improvements and ensuring the efficiency and availability of machines and other equipment.

For the role of Maintenance Technician, we are seeking a candidate who:
  • Is a certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright
  • Preference would be given to candidates with experience in these areas:
    • 2+ years or more work experience as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright
    • Experience with industrial automation in an automotive manufacturing facility, with wire or tube bending equipment, robotics (Fanuc), vision inspection systems, injection mold machines (Engel/Multiplas), electronics/electrical repair are all considered assets
Compensation

Wage is $41.00/hour per the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Annual raises.
