Job summary

A leading steel supplier in Hamilton, Ontario, is hiring a Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machines and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have at least two years of experience, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to work safely with various tools and equipment. This position requires some travel to the US for training.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of drilling, oxyfuel, plasma alignment, and vibration monitoring.
• Experience with welding certification.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on machinery in an industrial environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems using test equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic systems.
