Overview

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Product Engineer in the manufacturing sector, within a dynamic and innovative company.

As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing products from concept to production. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet technical specifications, user needs, and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret strategic instructions from senior management.
  • Design preliminary drawings for new or improved products.
  • Define material requirements and identify suitable suppliers.
  • Evaluate and qualify new materials according to industry standards.
  • Build prototypes and refine products based on testing results and customer feedback.
  • Document and release product information (Device Master Record).
  • Participate in equipment evaluation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in engineering, product design, or development.
  • 10 years of experience in medical device manufacturing.
  • Member of the Quebec Order of Engineers (asset).
  • Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC machining, PCB).
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, innovative mindset.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
