Industrial Engineer

Find the perfect balance between office and field work at Soucy. As an industrial engineer, you will learn about our manufacturing methods to meet our customers' highest quality standards. Your main role is maintaining and improving practices and actively participating in improving our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead production process improvement projects, from design to implementation.
  • Collaborate on the design of workstations and production lines.
  • Analyze production flows and propose solutions to improve productivity.
  • Participate in the selection and integration of new equipment and/or technologies.
  • Analyze, propose, and implement work methods to reduce non-value-added activities, sources of waste, and accident risks.
  • Train and support teams in the adoption of new practices or tools.
  • Lead Kaizen workshops and annual strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SolidWorks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within required deadlines.
