Industrial Performance Manager

YOUR MISSION OF EXCELLENCE

Reporting to the Plant Director, the Industrial Performance Manager is responsible for sustainably improving the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing processes. This role combines operational leadership, process optimization, and change management.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

  • Analysis and diagnosis

  • Assess the performance of production lines (quality, cost, deadlines, safety, energy, environment)

  • Identify losses, waste, and non-value-added activities

  • Implement performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Continuous improvement

  • Deploy Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, or other operational excellence tools

  • Standardize best practices and ensure process reliability

  • Optimize the use of resources (human, material, energy)

  • Management and support

  • Lead improvement workshops with production and maintenance teams

  • Train and raise employee awareness of continuous improvement culture

  • Unite teams around common goals and encourage on-the-ground innovation

  • Project management

  • Define, plan, and monitor industrial performance projects

  • Ensure coordination between departments (production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, etc.)

  • Guarantee timelines, budget adherence, and achievement of expected results

  • Manage the implementation of new industrial installations

  • Perform technical monitoring and ensure equipment compliance with engineering standards

  • Deliver tangible results

  • Reduction in production costs

  • Improved productivity and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)

  • Strengthened quality and customer satisfaction

  • Development of a sustainable performance culture

Ideal profile
  • Bachelor?s degree in industrial engineering or a related field

  • 10 years of experience in an industrial environment

  • 3 years of project management experience

  • 2 years of personnel management experience

  • Mastery of steel transformation processes, particularly welding

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial environments and core manufacturing processes

  • Proficiency in project management tools (Office, MS Project, CAD software)

  • Excellent ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • LEAN and/or Six Sigma certification

  • Demonstrates rigor and autonomy

  • Proven leadership and team mobilization skills

  • Strong listening and interpersonal communication abilities

  • Good knowledge of industrial robotics (preferred)

  • Functional English to collaborate with English-only suppliers and sister companies
