Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join a major automotive client in Canada. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, reading schematics, and performing basic PLC troubleshooting (Siemens or Allen Bradley).

Day-to-day work includes responding to breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, supporting improvement projects, and training apprentices as needed in a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Licensed electrician with 442A or 309A certification.
• 3–5 years electrician experience.
• PLC experience/exposure (Siemens or Allen Bradley).
• Experience with automated and manual manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance.
• Read electrical schematics and prints; assist with PLC troubleshooting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and training apprentices as needed.
