Job summary

Cardinal Health Canada is seeking an Electrician to join our Gananoque team. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing all electrical work within the Gananoque facility.

You will support 24/7 automated manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot PLC software, perform preventive maintenance, read electrical drawings, install wiring and controls, and ensure compliance with the Ontario Electrical Code and ISO 13485 environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician or Electrical Technician preferred.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong PLC knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of industrial electrical control circuitry.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Electrical support of 24/7 automated manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Modify and troubleshoot PLC software and PC-based control systems.
• Create and execute preventive maintenance and calibration procedures for equipment.
• Install electrical equipment, controls and wiring on standard products and industrial machinery.
• Read schematics and ensure compliance with Ontario Electrical Code and ESA.
