Qualifications

• Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to determine layouts of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Works with motors, drivers, switchgear, transformers, and related components.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and testing of electrical systems.
• Maintains compliance with safety regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and code specifications for layouts of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Install, examine, replace or repair motors, drivers, switchgear, transformers, and related components.
• Install and inspect wiring, conduits, lighting fixtures, and cables with safety standards.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems.
