PTW Energy Services is hiring Electrical Journeymen for a project local to Edmonton Area. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings, testing equipment, and installing motors, drives, PLCs, and electrical systems in industrial settings.

A candidate should have maintenance and oil field electrical experience and hold a Journeyman Electrical Technician certification. We value reliability, independence, teamwork, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certified Journeyman Electrical Technician.
• Experience in maintenance and industrial oil field electrical work.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and safe worker.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes to plan installations.
• Test electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Install, replace, or repair motors, drives, PLCs, transformers, and related controls.
• Install wiring, conduits, lighting, and cable assemblies per codes.
• Size and install circuits including panels and protective devices.
