Job summary

BBA Consultants is seeking an Intermediate Industrial Drafter in Calgary, AB, to join our energy, industrial and mining teams. You will draft P&IDs and PFDs, apply client standards, and contribute to design from studies to detailed engineering. Strong English, drafting certification, and CAD software expertise are required.

The role emphasizes independent work and collaboration within a supportive team, offering growth in a dynamic, multi-sector environment across Canada and beyond.

Qualifications

• Drafting certificate or diploma from an accredited institution.
• From 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of P&IDs and PFDs.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with high competency in English (both spoken and written).
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Asset: knowledge of CADWorx P&ID.
• Asset: knowledge of MicroStation.
• Asset: French and Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and plot process and instrumentation diagrams.
• Apply BBA and client standards when drafting various types of drawings.
• Participate in improving dynamic block libraries and other internal tools.
• Contribute to design phases from studies to detailed engineering.
