As an Industrial Accounts Manager, you will strive to grow our business by supporting existing accounts within an established territory and by acquiring new business. You will collaborate with our Technical Support Team to solve customer problems using appropriate chemistry and ensure safe, correct application to achieve optimal results.

Our high-performance standard drives customer satisfaction, retention, and endorsements, contributing to market growth.

Responsibilities
  • Support customers and contractors in selecting the correct chemistry and application procedures for Guardian products. Target markets include oil and gas well stimulation, tank and piping cleanings related to turnarounds, heat exchanger cleaning, and industrial parts washers and industrial wash bays.
  • Grow the territory by identifying and pursuing customer types where innovative chemistry improves results and benefits health, safety, and the environment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer business and collaborate in marketing efforts to evolve our product offering and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Understand, interpret, and communicate chemical analysis reports to key customer contacts, including management and engineering teams.
What you will bring
  • Technical chemical sales experience or related industry knowledge.
  • A proven track record acquiring new customers or contributing to profitable growth of a territory.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to build internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to balance existing customer demands with growth goals and manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to connect with a diverse range of client contacts.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in a hands-on role.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Physical capability to manage stairs, ladders, and some moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
  • Post-secondary education in Science or Engineering is considered an asset but not required.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to work at safety-sensitive customer sites where testing may include drug and alcohol screening, and where respirator fitting requires cleanliness.
