Job summary

Star Building Materials is hiring a Wall Panel Assembler in Winnipeg, MB. This full-time permanent role at our new wall panel manufacturing division offers year-round hours with an evening shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, $1 premium). You will cut wood, assemble wall panels, and prep shipments in a safe production environment.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing abilities are required for basic documentation.
• Minimum 3 months of manufacturing or wood framing experience.
• Criminal record check verification required.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Physically able to kneel, crouch and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wall panels and secure materials accurately.
• Inspect finished packages for quality and accuracy.
• Cut wood to specified dimensions and angles.
• Review work orders to set up equipment and procedures.
• Build and stack pony walls on skids and band bundles.
• Operate forklifts to move goods and supply feedstock.
