Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care in Calgary seeks an Alberta-certified teacher to join our support services team as an IPP teacher. You will write and manage IPPs, work with classroom teams and specialists to support individualized learning.

This role emphasizes inclusive, play-based approaches and collaboration with families. Requirements include a Bachelor of Education and Alberta Teaching Certificate, with a passion for neurodiversity and inclusive classrooms.

• A Bachelor of Education and an Alberta Teaching Certificate (interim or permanent).
• Passion and experience in inclusive education and neurodiversity.
• A strengths-based mindset and a commitment to building inclusive classrooms.
• Comfort adapting to dynamic environments with a flexible, team-first attitude.
• Experience or training in play-based learning and child-led exploration.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Standard First Aid with Child CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Individual Program Plans (IPPs) tailored to each child's developmental goals.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, educational assistants, and other professionals to support each child’s success.
• Build trusting relationships with children, caregivers, and team members.
• Complete essential documentation: IPPs, transition plans, and referrals.

Compensation

$65,000 - $85,000 over 10 months

About The Role
