A leading water technology company in Ontario is seeking an Indirect Procurement Category Specialist to develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect goods and services. This role involves overseeing strategic sourcing, managing vendor relationships, and negotiating contracts to ensure the best possible cost and quality. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of procurement experience, and strong analytical skills. A salary range of $85K to $93K CAD is offered, along with comprehensive benefits.
The Indirect Procurement Category Specialist works under the direction of the Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement on the development and implementation of effective procurement strategies, from initial identification of procurement needs through delivery, for indirect goods and services within the Corporate Services space (HR, Marketing, Consulting, Finance, Temp Labor, etc.). Contributes to the planning, development, management and implementation of procurement strategic initiatives that align with the Water Tech Zone Company goals for reducing costs and meeting financial expectations, while managing vendor relationships. This role will influence and collaborate with senior management, P&L leadership, regional leadership and supply base to develop and deploy a holistic, global/regional strategy for indirect pend.
