Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognized by an Indigenous community as competent in traditional Indigenous practices.
• Training in traditional Indigenous approaches to wellbeing.
• Experience in a health care setting or human services field is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy, counseling, support, education and facilitation of wellness services.
• Build relationships and trust between Indigenous patients and health care providers.
• Educate about respectful relationships and health care for Indigenous peoples.
