Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related field.
• Registration with applicable professional governing body in B.C.
• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed care creating a culturally safe environment.
• Conduct mental health assessments and collaborative care planning.
• Create connections to resources for clients’ specific needs.

Skills

Advanced training in threat/risk assessment

Trauma response training

Motivational interviewing

CBT training

Experience with complex social systems

Experience working with indigenous communities

Education

Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related
