Job summary

The Lambton Kent District School Board is seeking an Indigenous Graduation Coach to support Indigenous students and families, focusing on student success and graduation through programs, services and collaboration with school staff and community partners. The role emphasizes equity and anti-oppressive education in line with LKDSB priorities.

Two permanent, non-union positions are available, 35 hours per week, home locations to be determined.

Qualifications

• Completion of a college or university program - related field is preferred.
• Successful experience working in a field related to or with local Indigenous communities.
• Indigenous self-identification is required for consideration.
• Lenape self-identification preferred for one vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement programs, services and supports to meet Indigenous student needs and graduation goals.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, Indigenous community partners and outside agencies to build networks and supports.
