Job summary

A community health service provider in Sioux Lookout is seeking a Clinical Lead for Community Mental Wellness Services. This full-time role involves overseeing mental wellness program delivery, fostering partnerships, and providing support to community resource teams. Ideal candidates have a Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology and experience in First Nations’ mental health services. The position is dynamic, involving community engagement and program development to enhance mental health services.

Qualifications

  • Master’s level degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology or relevant discipline.
  • Two years supervisory experience in First Nations’ mental health services.
  • Five years direct service experience in mental health and addictions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee effective delivery of mental wellness programs and services.
  • Administer and coordinate the Community Mental Wellness Team.
  • Support Shibogama communities in Suboxone program delivery.

Skills

Understanding of Indigenous approaches to mental health
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in time management
Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Knowledge in developing workplans
Fluency in Oji-Cree

Education

Master’s level degree in Social Work or Psychology
Bachelor level degree in a related field
