Dawson College invites applications for a college-level teaching role focusing on Indigenous language instruction in Montreal. The position includes regular teaching duties and participation in college activities and events.

Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in an Indigenous language, fluency in English and an Indigenous language, and experience teaching at the college level. Knowledge of Indigenous cultures such as Kanien'kéha:ka or Cree is essential.

Competenze

• Master's degree in an Indigenous language.
• Certificate of Graduation in an Indigenous language immersion program.
• Fluency in an Indigenous language and at least one year of teaching experience.
• Firsthand knowledge of Kanien'kéha:ka or Cree culture.
• Fluency in English and an Indigenous language.
• Teaching experience at the college level is an asset.
• General knowledge of French is an asset.
