Job summary

A regional health authority in Canada is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care for Indigenous clients with diverse health needs. The role requires an understanding of Indigenous culture and a commitment to delivering culturally safe care. Candidates should possess appropriate nursing registration and a valid driver's license, with at least two years of experience working within Indigenous communities.

Qualifications

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN/RPN.
  • Valid BC Driver's License.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Indigenous clients.
  • Conduct assessments and case management.
  • Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
