Job summary

A community-focused organization in Canada is seeking a full-time Downtown East Side Outreach Worker to support at-risk Nuu-chah-nulth individuals through outreach and wellness checks. This position involves establishing trusting relationships and facilitating cultural activities while collaborating with service partners. Ideal candidates will have experience with Indigenous communities and a commitment to a sober lifestyle. The role offers $32.00 per hour for 35 hours a week and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Indigenous individuals or communities facing wellness barriers.
  • Willingness to engage in overdose response training.

Responsibilities
