Job summary

A community organization in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a Cultural Resource Coordinator to support cultural knowledge transfer and promote healing and reconciliation within Indigenous communities. The successful candidate will provide traditional teachings and ceremonies, coordinate access to Elders, and promote cultural competency. Strong knowledge of Indigenous culture, experience working with urban Indigenous youth, and excellent communication skills are essential. This position offers a salary of $65,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of related work experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Satisfactory criminal reference check is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support cultural knowledge transfer.

• Promote cultural awareness and competency.
