Job summary

Medavie Health Services West in Saskatchewan is hiring up to 10 permanent part-time Primary Care Paramedics to support a growing network of emergency and primary health care services.

The role includes independent clinical care, safe patient transport (emergency and non-emergency), and maintenance of ambulances and equipment in line with NOCP, provincial registration, and Medavie policies. Applicants must meet licensure, ITLS/CPR-C, and clean background checks.

Qualifications

• Must meet legislated requirements for Primary Care Paramedics in Saskatchewan.
• Must be registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics as a Primary Care Paramedic or eligible for registration.
• Must submit a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver’s License with resume (front and back).
• Must submit ITLS and CPR-C for Health Care Providers with resume.
• Must provide a current criminal record check and a vulnerable sector check.
• Must provide a current driver’s abstract (within last 60 days).
• Ability to work as a team and maintain good attendance and confidentiality.
• Professional conduct and high work standards are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent primary clinical care.
• Safely transport individuals, including emergency and non‑emergency responses and inter‑facility transfers.
• Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment per patient needs and public safety.
• Follow NOCP guidelines, Saskatchewan College of Paramedics requirements, and Medavie Health Services West policies.
