Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our national merchandising team as an independent contractor. The role involves working at a retail location, with an 18-hour weekday schedule and a competitive hourly wage.

You will be responsible for creating attractive displays, stocking shelves according to planograms, updating pricing and seasonal visuals, and executing program initiatives with store personnel.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented and extremely organized.
• Flexible to adjust to a changing market environment.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis.

Responsibilities

• Make product displays look appealing to customers.
• Move products from storage and fill displays following a Planogram.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing.
• Execute account-specific initiatives (bookings, end caps, marketing programs).
• Collaborate with store personnel to identify opportunities to add value on visits.
• Provide merchandising support including shelf maintenance and planogram updates.
• Submit daily reporting.
