Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Operational Risk, Audit, Compliance, or related second-line function within financial services.
• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate.
• Knowledge of control design, testing methodologies, evidence standards, issue identification, and remediation oversight.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide credible challenge without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate testing observations for senior leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line oversight of control testing activities, assess scope, methodology, sampling, procedures, evidence and conclusions.
• Challenge quality and consistency of control ratings, deficiencies, and management responses against risks.
• Identify recurring themes, systemic weaknesses, concentration risks, and emerging issues; deliver insights to senior management and risk committees.
• Oversee remediation plans and verify closure evidence is sufficient.
