Job summary

JD Sports Fashion PLC is seeking a visually driven in-store merchandiser in Abbotsford, Canada. The role focuses on creating compelling product placements, updating displays, and supporting seasonal campaigns to maximize store profitability through engaging visuals.

You will follow weekly merchandising packs, train team members, and participate in shopfits and promotions, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation in line with company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow the weekly Retail Visual Merchandising Pack and apply this directive in your store.
• Regularly update mannequins, displays, and windows to reflect seasonal changes and key events on the retail calendar.
• Set up and monitor in-store promotions with the use of relevant marketing.
• Analyze branch trade review figures to assist in product placement and floor moves.
• Attract, engage, and motivate customers into making purchases by using advanced visual techniques.
• Provide training and assist with team development on merchandising and displays.

SALARY: $19.00-$21.00/hourly

As a part of the in-store team you will provide visual support to the store, engaging our customers by creative product placement and utilizing the latest fashion trends. You will create window and in-store displays while maximizing store profitability through enticing visual concepts.

MERCHANDISING

• Follow the weekly Retail Visual Merchandising Pack and apply this directive in your store.
• Regularly update mannequins, displays, and windows to reflect seasonal changes and key events on the retail calendar.
• Set up and monitor in-store promotions with the use of relevant marketing.
• Analyze branch trade review figures to assist in product placement and floor moves.
• Attract, engage, and motivate customers into making purchases by using the most advanced visual techniques.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

• Provide training and assist with team development on merchandising and displays.
• Ensure that weekly development takes place to fill future visual roles.
• Communicate and provide feedback to Town Merchandiser on visual merchandising and activity in-store.
• Participate in training sessions and shopfits as opportunities arise.

GENERAL

• Work in a highly professional manner, leading by example always.
• Conduct your work in a safe and responsible manner.
• Promote a high standard of hygiene, cleanliness, and maintenance in line with company standards.
