Job summary

RONA in Hamilton is seeking a store administrator to greet customers, process transactions, balance cash reports, and ensure compliance with loss prevention and safety policies. You will help keep the checkout area organized and assist teammates with daily store operations.

Ideal candidates are comfortable standing for long periods and may work outdoors when required. Prior cash register experience is a plus, and RONA values inclusion, training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently.
• Comfortable standing for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors.
• Experience with cash register systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions precisely and accurately.
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered.
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention and health and safety policies.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
