The role involves providing one-on-one support to help children achieve their academic potential. Flexible scheduling is available. Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Screening are required. Volunteers 18 and over are required to tutor children in care who are in need of extra help in achieving their full academic potential. The volunteer will assist a child to experience success in learning through a supportive one-to-one relationship.
Volunteers are required to tutor children in care who are in need of extra help in achieving their full academic potential. The volunteer will assist a child to experience success in learning through a supportive one-to-one relationship. The children requiring assistance can range from age 6-18 and all academic levels. Scheduling can be arranged directly with the foster parents and the tutor at your mutual convenience.
