Job summary

Foremost is seeking a Production Engineering Supervisor in Calgary to lead a team of engineers and drafting staff. You will work closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables and strong technical leadership.

The role requires an active P.Eng designation and 2–4 years in a related manufacturing leadership position. This in-office position offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment in Calgary.

Qualifications

• Active P.Eng designation in good standing is required.
• 2–4 years in a project engineering lead or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising and coordinating internal and external engineering and drafting personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly production meeting updates to all operational stakeholders.
• Lead weekly Engineering Department meetings with Production Engineers.
• Delegate Production Engineering tasks, including the design and drafting of structural, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Oversee project status and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
• Review and approve sales contracts from an engineering perspective.
• Prepare estimates for Production Engineering project hours, resource requirements, and timelines.
• Review Quality Assurance reports and delegate engineering-related corrective actions and follow-up tasks.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to the Production Engineering team, including ensuring the validity of methods used by staff and reviewing work for technical accuracy and compliance with applicable regulatory codes, standards, and engineering practices.
• Perform design calculations, modelling, and drafting tasks as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
