Job summary

A government agency in Canada is seeking a caregiver to provide bedside and personal care in a rural setting. The ideal candidate has a College diploma and relevant Health Care Aide and Support Worker certifications. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, providing companionship, and preparing meals. Experience with clients having Alzheimer's disease is preferred. This is an on-site position with no remote work option.

Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge in administering medications and personal care.
• Experience with individuals with Alzheimer's disease and adults.

Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care.
• Assist clients with bathing and hygiene.
• Provide companionship and personal care.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
