Job summary

Face Personnel Services is seeking an in-home caregiver for a private family in Hampstead, Quebec. The role involves caring for two children, including one with a chronic medical issue, and supervising them when parents are away.

You will also organize activities, follow parents’ discipline methods, and perform light housework. Requires Canadian secondary education equivalency and at least 1 year care experience. Bilingual French/English preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Bathe children as needed.
• General housework including laundry and some ironing.
• Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment.

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is April 1, 2027.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $19 and $23 per hour.

Location: Ms. JeMo…. lives in Hampstead, Quebec . The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 161). The major intersection is Fleet + Netherwood.

Duties may include:

• 1- This job is to help with the care of two children aged 6 and 9 years old. One of the children suffer from a chronic medical issue. Additional care ans supervision is required
• 2- Supervision of children when parents are not at home, and take the child to and from appointments
• 3- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
